What does the law of conservation of momentum tell us about collisions?
 a. Collisions increase the momenta of the colliding objects because the impacts add momentum.
  b. Collisions decrease the momenta of the colliding objects because the friction of the impact decreases momentum.
  c. The total momentum in the system does not change because of a collision.
