The strong nuclear force works only on scales much smaller than the interatomic spacing of the ions in an atom, and therefore does not play a role in the potential energy of the ion

Answer to Question 2

b.
Quantum teleportation involves the sending of information about entangled systems over classical information channels. The vital characteristic of laser light is the coherency of the beam in both wavelength and phase so that the photons emitted are identical. In this way can the beam be split (the photons will be entangled) and experimented upon.
