Does a magnetic field exert a force on a straight current-carrying wire? Assume the current is along the x axis and field is in the y direction.

A precipitate is usually a solid that separates from a solution as a result of some
physical or chemical change and can be removed by filtration. A filtrate is the liquid
that has passed through a filter.
