Answer to Question 1

TMA is the ratio of the distance the input force moves to the distance the output force
moves. AMA is the ratio of the output force to the input force of any machine.

Answer to Question 2

The applied force must not vary in value and the acceleration must be zero, so the
speed must be constant.
