Why doesnt the melting of ocean-based ice raise as much concern and the melting of land-based ice?
1.Unlike land-based ice, ocean-based ice already displaces water, so when it melts ocean levels wont change much.
2.Because ocean-based ice is in the oceans, it will affect the level of the oceans much more than land-based ice.
3.Both ocean-based ice and land-based ice raise the same level of concern.
