  3.a combination of longitudinal and transverse waves.
  4.analogous to water waves.

An airplane overhead exceeds the sound barrier and produces a conical wave front. If the air through which the plane flew had been significantly warmer and the plane were traveling at the same speed, how would the angle of the conical wave front been different?
