The amount of water vapor the air can hold depends on air temperature. At higher temperatures the air

Answer: The trade winds blow from the east toward the west. Although the direction is constant, the intensity of the winds is subject to change. Because wind blowing over the oceans produces surface ocean currents, when the trade winds slacken so do the surface ocean currents.
