In a therapy group, it is important to pay close attention to individual members to notice if one reacts strongly to a comment, activity, or situation. When paying attention to individuals, a leader can draw out members who are ready or willing to share or stop a discussion to clarify something. Leaders can also assess for cultural differences when watching for individual's reactions.
