Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

When a member does not wish to share his or her thoughts, the leader needs to consider the member's level of discomfort in deciding whether to return to the member after he or she has passed on a round or is quiet in discussion. The leader also needs to consider the dynamic this creates in the group and how comfortable other group members are with one not sharing, as well. It is best for the leader to attempt to ascertain the reason why the member is uncomfortable sharing, and to let other members know why, if appropriate. However, the leader should not spend too much time on obtaining a reason if this detracts from the exercise, itself.
