Answer to Question 1

The answer to this question should reflect the basic understanding on the part of the student of each skill he or she selects and some demonstration as to how the skill may be applied. For example, active listening entails listening to the content, voice, and body language of the person speaking. The value in using this skill as a group leader is that it provides much important information for the leader and creates a sense of being listened to among the members. Reflection is sometimes a complimentarily skill.
