If the leader has to lead a group that includes members that she does not like, the authors recommend trying to find a co-leader or making the group as interesting as possible for both members and herself. If the leader cannot avoid leading the group or change her feelings about it, then planning thoroughly may lessen the anti-therapeutic effects of this force.
