1 . Advocacy on the part of the counselor can be most helpful in placing clients in jobs.
2 . The challenges are great when someone who can be labeled as having a double or triple minority status is in search of a job. A person with a disability who is a minority and a female may be quite limited in finding work.
3 . Counselors are to clearly address both career and personal concerns.
4 . The case for the individual is very important here, especially in the development of skills needed for job placement and client-focused follow-up plans.
