4 . Knowledge of client's culture: One is to become informed and familiar with the client's cultural orientation as it relates to the role of family, gender roles, religion, sociopolitical contexts, and cultural assumptions.
5 . Adaptation of skills: One is to alter counseling programs and individual strategies to fit the needs of the client's cultural values.
