 Director: person who guides the protagonist; roughly equivalent to the group leader
 Protagonist: subject of the psychodrama; may play many parts
 Actors: those who play parts of important people or objects; take direction from the protagonist
 Stage: area where the action takes place; should be separate from meeting space
 Audience: describes others who may be present during the psychodrama; audience members give feedback
