 Crisis-centered groups are formed in response to some emergency and meet until the issue is resolved
 Problem centered groups focus on one particular concern and often help promote feelings of universalization
 Growth-centered groups focus on personal and social development, and encourage children to explore feelings, concerns, and behaviors to make changes
