According to the conceptual framework of JIT, there are 8 practices considered essential for a comprehensive JIT implementation. At the same time, there are two additional practices which constitute the foundation of all 8 activities. List these two additional practices.

A balanced experiment requires that:
 a. at least one sample equal size is 30.
  b. the number of treatments equals the number of samples.
  c. an equal number of persons or test units receives each treatment.
  d. at least two treatment groups be used.
  e. at least two samples are paired.
