The speed of cars traveling down a particular road follows a distribution that is not bell-shaped and symmetrical has a mean equal to 50 miles per hour (MPH) and a standard deviation equal to 6 MPH. What is the minimum percent of cars that would be expected to fall between 38 MPH and 62 MPH?

Using Chebyshev's Theorem, we would expect 75 of the cars to fall within these limits.

Answer to Question 2

95 percent of the orders should fall between 55 and 95.
