A new computer-based exercise device has an unfortunate tendency to issue an electrical jolt to
  someone using the device. The plaintiff is someone who, when using the device, got jolted so
  seriously as to require hospitalization. Since the manufacturer of the device has sold millions of them,
  the plaintiff wants to sue the manufacturer on behalf of the plaintiff as well as others who had bought
  the device and suffered an injury when using the device. So the plaintiff will file
