Juliette has been told by a friend who has experienced a similar situation that she felt that the court totally gave her son the short end of the deal when it came to child support from his father. We know that federal law has mandated that every state must have in place child support guidelines. What can Juliette expect the court to follow as far as mandated guidelines are concerned?
