There will be a change in the technology of how court reporters record the spoken word. The reporter will continue to be necessary, but his or her role will adapt to modern technology. Court reporters will continue to be considered the guardian of the record.

To capture the spoken word and guarantee a true and accurate record that will be preserved for posterity.
