Once the paralegal for the plaintiff or defendant has obtained the plaintiff's medical records:
 
  a. They are no longer confidential.
  b. They are and remain confidential.
  c. They may be shown to a friend if the friend signs a certificate of further non-disclosure.
  d. They can now be used for any purpose within the litigation or outside the litigation.

Question 2

The following records must be specially and separately requested.
 
  a. Psychotherapy notes.
  b. X-rays.
  c. Childbirth records.
  d. Lab reports dealing with cancer.
