Answer to Question 1

Paralegals employed in a real estate law practice may perform such tasks as drafting documents; reviewing title searches and reports; reviewing contracts of sales and leases; performing closing responsibilities, recording deeds and other documents; performing tax filings, securing zoning permits and applications; preparing legal descriptions, arranging payoffs, notarizing documents; arranging for insurance, ordering and conducting lien searches, assessing ownership and types of realty; assuring compliance with the law and communicating with clients and others.

Answer to Question 2

A password could provide an outsider with access to huge amounts of data. As a matter of security, passwords should be unique, and changed on a regular basis. This prevents theft of passwords that may be easily seen when left lying on a desk.
