Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Federal jurisdiction can be achieved in one of two ways: federal question jurisdiction and diversity jurisdiction. Federal question jurisdiction is the authority of the federal courts to hear a case under a claim arising from the US Constitution or federal statute. Federal diversity is the authority of the federal courts to hear a case where the amount in controversy exceeds 75,000 and no plaintiff can share residency in the same state with any defendant in the case.

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition.
