Therefore, the memo must be written clearly and concisely so that any member of the legal team can read and understand the findings. In drafting a legal memo, your writing should be professional, clear, and concise with a formal tone. It is also possible that the memo will be sent to the client in the form of an opinion letter, which you will learn in the next chapter. The attorney could include your summary of the law into the opinion letter.
