Information that the creator of the document may want to restrict include any Track Changes or Document Comparison information. Both Word and WordPerfect offer specific instructions for removing the metadata or other hidden information. There are also programs that are added on to e-mail that automatically inquire of the sender if the document to be sent should be scanned for metadata and cleaned before sending.
