The main purpose of a legal remedy is to put the wronged party in the position he would have been in if the contract
 
  A) had never been made in the first place.
  B) had been reviewed by an attorney before signing.
  C) had been made on terms the wronged party would have preferred.
  D) had been performed as agreed by the parties.
