The online auction website removes the listing before the auction deadline ends because prescription drugs are prohibited items under the online auction website's terms and conditions. No payment is transmitted by John. John brings an action against both the online auction website and the seller pharmguy for breach of contract. How would a court rule in this case?

A court would likely dismiss John's action because the listing for prescription drugs is based on an illegal contract. An illegal contract is not enforceable. John would also have trouble showing mutual agreement with pharmguy since the listing was removed before the auction closed.
