Using multiple applications and formats leads to unnecessary complication and compatibility issues. It is important that the entire presentation be executed seamlessly. There are too many unknowns during a trial that may require a sudden change in strategy. If there is only one application controlling the entire presentation, it is easier to quickly adapt to change.
