a. The premises clause: Date and identification of the parties; granting clause, legal description, recital, under the subject clause and appurtenances clause.
b. The habendum clause: Defines the nature of the estate being transferred.
c. Covenants clause: Any promises made by the grantor with regard to the title being transferred.
d. The execution clause: Precedes the grantor's signature and the acknowledgement clause.
