Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Conformal maps maintain the correct shapes of areas, but do not preserve size. Equal-area maps maintain size, but distort shapes. Compromise projections are neither conformal nor equal-area, but can produce accurate looking maps. Equal-area maps are useful for showing the distributions of features such as earthquakes or hurricanes. Conformal maps represent the globe in an easily recognizable form. Compromise projections are a happy medium that minimizes misleading inaccuracies.

There are major differences in the metabolism of morphine and the illegal drug heroin. Morphine mostly produces its CNS effects through m-receptors, and at k- and d-receptors. Heroin has a slight affinity for opiate receptors. Most of its actions are due to metabolism to active metabolites (6-acetylmorphine, morphine, and morphine-6-glucuronide).
