The supra is a dinner party of many individuals which includes a very specialized wine
toasting ceremony. That ceremony is presided over by the tamada, or toastmaster. The
tamada makes toasts, then selects various people to make toasts. The khantsi (a ram's
horn) is given to the male guests full of wine. They must drink it all. There is a series of
specific toasts that must be gone through during the ceremony.
