According to the information about the biological components of menopause,
 
  a. as women age, the production of estrogen decreases and the production of progesterone increases.
  b. most women have regular menstrual periods until the periods stop abruptly at the time of menopause.
  c. the cause of menopause is that a woman's reproductive system has depleted its supply of ova (eggs).
