 Remember the reader does not have the benefit of voice inflection to help
guide him or her to the correct interpretation.
 Ensure that not only are the words correct, but that they will be interpreted
when read without voice inflection or nonverbal communication clues in the
manner intended.
 Apply the principles of communication as you would to a letter or memo.
