Can be used for all inventory items to track usage, maintain inventory levels, and assist in ordering and restocking.Perpetua l inventory is an ongoing record of purchases and issues of items in inventory. Generally used for items of higher value.

Answer to Question 2

Storage is where inventory is kept between receiving it, and serving it to the guest. Care must be taken to ensure it is secure, protected from theft and loss. Any product that is purchased, but not served to and paid for by a guest adversely effects the beverage cost and the profit of the operation.
Storage conditions must also be considered; some items are find storing at room temperature, while others require either refrigerated or frozen storage to maintain their quality and prolong the shelf life.
