Answer to Question 1

Answers, of course, will vary. But if students criticize Bono for such relationships,
a discussion of stereotyping and the perils of boundary spanning could be fruitful.

Answer to Question 2

Some members of each culture have criticized Bono for working within the other
culture. The rich and powerful have sometimes thought that a mere rock star has
no place lecturing them about their duties  and, as the International Herald
Tribune notes, some fans may believe that a true rock star can't be friends with
presidents and corporate leaders.
