Answer to Question 1

With the enormous sum of money that went into the research and development of
the Terminator, public opinion research would have been a wise investment.
Considering the depth of feeling over the financial and environmental impact of
the new technology, an accepting environment for this product may be a long time
coming. This would have been useful to know before jumping into the fray.

Answer to Question 2

Answers to the second question will vary, of course. Regarding the first question,
Carol Cone's Chapter 6 Memo from the Field cites data indicating that
consumers prefer to do business with good corporate citizens.
