I believe my public speaking teacher has a lot of confidence because of her
verbal and nonverbal communication. She is always prepared for class and teaches with
enthusiasm and a conversational style. She does not have any distracting mannerisms and keeps
great eye contact with the class. She speaks loudly and clearly and is able to answer all questions with clarity and detail. She smiles a lot and engages students in discussion. For these
reasons, students consider her credible.
