Answer to Question 1

They both are systems of food production that rely on plants. However, horticulture involves a simple technology and the production only of what is needed by the family unit. It is still associated with mobility. Agriculture uses intensive crop cultivation, plows, fertilizers, and irrigation. It is associated with fixed settlement.
