You are about to start a research project looking into personality variables and their relationship to serotonin. In choosing subjects you are interested in subjects who have a short allele of a serotonin transporter that causes them to have less serotonin in their system, but its also likely that this group would be using an SSRI, a group of drugs that reduce serotonin re-uptake.
