Answer to Question 2

Paraphiliacs engage in bizarre or abnormal sexual practices involving recurrent sexual urges focused on: (a) nonhuman objects (such as underwear, shoes, or leather), (b) humiliation or the experience of receiving or giving pain (such as in sadomasochism or bondage), or (c) children or others who cannot grant consent. When paraphilias involve unwilling or underage victims, they are considered socially harmful and subject to criminal penalties. Outlawed paraphilias include asphyxiophilia (autoerotic asphyxia), frotteurism, voyeurism, exhibitionism, and sadomasochism.
