Answer to Question 1

Answer: c

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Several policy changes that would better control organized crime exist. One approach is to increase the risk involved in organized crime by increasing the resources available to law enforcement agencies that fight organized crime. Creating more stringent laws to fight organized crime is another approach that is necessary to control organized crime. Reducing the economic lure of involvement in organized crime by making legitimate opportunities more readily available is a third approach. Decreasing organized criminal opportunities through decriminalization or legalization is a fourth approach. Examples of these approaches will vary.
