Answer to Question 1

Answer: Answers should define biosocial theory and stress the emphasis on interaction between biology and the environment.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Answers should discuss the complexity of the relationship between temperature and criminal behavior, including how mediating factors such as time of day and day of week, affect the strength of the relationship. Crimes discussed could include assault, property crimes, and domestic violence. The possible link between barometric pressure and violent crime should also be reviewed and answers should also explain how research results are consistent with routine activities theory.
