Reasons to withdraw include fair and just rule in federal courtsinvoluntary pleas, prosecutorial breeches, and lack of evidence or newly discovered evidence. Reasons to appeal include appealing on an issue decided adversely in a pretrial motion (e.g., a motion to suppress evidence).
