Why is it important to have uniform wall thickness? How can you change a part design with an especially thick region to make it easier to injection mold?

Answer to Question 1

Uniform wall thickness helps ensure the full shot for a part. Also it helps with even flow of the material. Ribs can be added to help those especially thick areas and make it a little easier to injection mold.

Just one plastic material is needed to be listed here. Not the brand name necessarily, but the type of plastic material it is.
