Over-tensioning a belt results in:
 
  A. More gripping power.
  B. Greater bearing strain.
  C. Shorter belt life.
  D. All of the above answers are correct.

Question 2

While checking the alignment, you find that the straight edge lines up properly on both sides of the sheaves and touches at all four points. After rotating one of the sheaves, you now find that the straight edge contacts only two of the four points. Most likely:
