Explain the concept of contour dimensioning.

Answer to Question 1

Contour dimensioning refers to the practice of placing the dimensions in the view where the shape

Answer to Question 2

The millimeter is the commonly used unit for most metric engineering drawings.

Either meters or feet and inches and fractional inches are used in architectural and structural work.
