Answer to Question 1

A complete or full auxiliary view projects all visible parts to the auxiliary view and not just those parts that need to be represented to show true size and shape. A partial auxiliary is usually easier to draw and easier to understand.

Answer to Question 2

One method is using the folding lines for projecting depth measurements.

A second method is to use the reference line and transfer measurements based on measurements from the reference line.
