Answer to Question 1

Answer: Emergent leaders and effective leaders have some key personality similarities, but also some differences. Both emergent and effective leaders are high in extraversion, openness to experience, and conscientiousness and low on neuroticism. The main difference is in agreeablenessemerge nt leaders such as Brian are just average in agreeableness, but effective leaders such as Tammy are high. In other words, the sharp elbows that allow people to fight their way to the top may hinder their ability to perform there.

Answer to Question 2

Jobs was also known for his creativity, his wide-ranging interests, and his interest in questioning established ideasall harbingers of openness.
