Answer: East Asians are more likely than Westerners (those from Western Europe, the United States, Canada, and Australia) to see themselves in the memory, which means they take the perspective of the audience. They remember the event as it would have appeared through others' eyes.

Answer: Individualistic cultural systems focus more on the individual and his choices and personality. Such an emphasis on the person is called an internal attribution.
