Randolph does not need to be told how boys and girls are different. Even though he is just turning 4 years old, he has learned a great deal from watching his brothers and sisters and the other people in his life.

Answer: Variable-ratio reinforcement is giving out a reward after a random number of behaviors. Fixed-interval reinforcement is giving out a reward after a certain amount of time has passed.
